ChimneySaver Waterproofing <--See Our Products!
Masonry materials that are used to construct chimneys are not waterproof. When water enters a chimney it causes a whole host of problems including spalling where the face of the brick actually splits off, Effloressence which will leave a white powedry residue on the surface and not to mention the damage you don’t see that’s usually not found until its to late and your faced with hundrends or even thousands of dollars in costly repairs. Some masonry chimneys will absorb so much water that it will actually appear in your fireplace or on top of your boiler leaving an ugly mess. Theres a solution to this nightmare ChimneySaver waterproofingring by Saversystems

CimneySaver is no ordinary sealer like you buy in your local home center that actually causes more damage. that’s because they are sealers and dont  let the masonry breathe which causes water to become trapped . ChimnneySaver lets the masonry material breath, it blocks the moisture from entering your chimney while letting the  moisture and condenstaion inside your chimney to escape. We have treated many homes in Suffolk County Long Island NY with  ChimneySaver that have had major water leaks. In most instances these were on going problems for years that other companys claimed they fixed with sealers and expensive repairs that never worked,  the water kept coming. In all these instances when we properly applied ChimneySaver water repellent the water stopped, this is no gimmick we have the customer tesominals to prove it. ChimneySaver comes in a solvent or water base formula and also makes a powdered additive (PWR) designed to be added to new cement with all the same benefits of the original ChimneySaver.

Chimney Relining - Oil & Gas
With energy prices at an all time high its no wonder that many long island homes are being updated with the the latest high efficency heating equipment, but what about the chimneys. Most homeowners don’t realize that there chimneys were built to fit the original inefficent heating equipment of yesterday when efficency wasn’t a main concern due to an abudance of energy at a realitive cheap cost. Now there chimney or vent may not be suitable or even capable of safetly drafting there new high efficent heating appliances. When it comes to chimneys one size does not fit all. On many of our chimney lining calls we here it all the time from baffled homeowners that say they get there chimney cleaned and inspected annually they recently upgraded ther heating equipment never had any problems before why am I having trouble now. On the older inneficent model heating appliances they put a lot of heat up the chimney so the draft was good with very little or no conndesation.Todays high efficency heating appliances put very liitle heat into those over sized chimney flues which can cause poor draft and heavy condensation which can erode your chimney flue at an excelerated rate.

If your in need of a new oil or gas chimney relining let csi’s factory trained certified technicians install one today.
